The deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Himal embrace a wide range of peoples and terrain, from subtropical jungle to a high, dry landscape resembling the Tibetan Plateua. The Annapurna circuit has become renowned as one of the great walks of the world, the Annapurna area also offers a multitude of shorter treks, the Annapurna regions provides endless possibilities for trekking.
