Day 02 Kathmandu City and Swayambhunath:
After breakfast Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu
City and Swayambhunath.
Durbar Square (Hanuman Dhoka) is the valley’s
number one tourist attraction. It has more than 50
monuments, most of the temples you see today are a
mere three or four centuries old. Swayambhunath Stupa
crowns a wooded hillock, which has been a holy site
since ancient times. According to historical records
its existence date back to the 5th century but the
stupa’s origins may go back even further, visitors
oftren call it the “Monekey Temple”. Pm.

Day 03 Airport to Darjeeling:
Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur Airport. Permit formalities.
Drive to Darjeeling.4 to 5 hrs. Check-in Hotel. Evening,
stroll around town.
Day 04 Darjeeling:
Early morning, drive to Tiger Hill to see sunrise.
On the return way visit Ghoom
Monastery and Batasia Loop. Return to Hotel. Breakfast.

park, Observatory Hill,

Day 05 Darjeeling to Pemayangtse:
Breakfast. Drive to Pemayangtse (112km.) 5 hrs. via;
Melli Check post, Jorethang and Legship. Check-in
Hotel. Evening walk around small town and quite village
area. Evening free.
Day 06 Pemayangtse to Gangtok:
Drive to Gangtok (112 km.), 5-6 hrs. via; Legship,
Kewzing and Singtam. Check-in Hotel. Evening walk
around town.
Day 07 Gangtok:
Gangtok, capital of Sikkim, meaning 'Hill Top' was
established in 1716. Interesting
sightseeing areas are Enchay Monastery (212 years
old) built on a site blessed by Lama Druptab Karpo,
a tantric master known for his power of flying, the
Directorate of Tibetology, Chorten etc. Afternoon
visit to Rumtek Monastery (24 km.). First built in
1717 AD. It was rebuilt by His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa
of Kagyupa sect, the 16th. Incarnation. Since his
death in 1982, the devotees waited for fifteen years
to discover the 17th incarnate in Tibet. He is in
India, but yet to come to his monastery in Sikkim.
The style of the monastery is traditional, a copy
of its Tibetan origin. Evening free.
Day 08 Gangtok to Kalimpong:
Drive to Kalimpong (75 km.). Once an active focal
point of Tibetan trade. Kalimpong is an ideal holiday
town, mostly because of its balmy climate throughout
the year. Check-in Hotel. One can laze around in the
tranquillity or go souvenir hunting at the village
markets. Visit nurseries, Monasteries and Local market.
Evening free.
Day 09 Kalimpong to Kathmandu:
Drive to Bhadrapur Airport. 2-4 hrs. And fly back
to Kathmandu. Pick up from Airport and transfer to
Hotel.
Day 10 Sightseeing - Patan, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath:
After breakfast drive to Patan – many of the
city residents are craftsmen who work in tiny shops,
clustered in different quarters by occupational caste;
stonecutter, metalworker, woodcutter etc. Patans’s
metalworkers are renowned: for 1000 years they’ve
produced fine images and jewelry, and continue to
dominate the market today. The Pashupatinath Temple
is Nepal’s most sacred Hindu shrine and one
of the great Shiva sites, a sprawling collection of
temples. Boudhanath lies seven km east of Kathmandu,
is one of Nepal’s most distinctive monuments
Full day sightseeing of Patan, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath.
Day 11 Bhaktapur and Nagarkot:
After breakfast pick up from Hotel and transfer to
Bhaktapur for sightseeing and drive to Nagarkot.
Day 12 Nagarkot to Kathmandu:
Early morning sunrise view, breakfast at hotel and
drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Free for optional tour or shopping.
Day 14: Pick up from Hotel and transfer to International
Airport for your onward flights.

Day 05 Darjeeling to Pemayangtse:
Drive to Pemayangtse via; Melli check post, Jorethang
(gateway to south and west
Sikkim) and Legship. Evening free.
Day 06 Pemayangtse to Yuksam:
Early morning visit monastery. Breakfast. Full day
excursion to Khechopalri Lake and to Yuksam and back
to Hotel. Yuksam is the first capital of Sikkim, where
the first coronation has taken place. It is also the
base camp for trekking route to Kanchenjunga national
park.
Day 07 Yuksam to Gangtok:
Drive to Gangtok (6-7 hrs.) via; Legship, Kewzing
and Singtam. Check-in Hotel. Evening walk around town.

North Sikkim. It is 38 km. Drive from Gangtok. Evening

Day 10 Gangtok to Kathmandu:

Day 11 Kathmandu – Chitwan:
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park
Day 12 Elephant ride, jungle walk, bird watching,
cultural show etc.
Day 13 Chitwan – Kathmandu:
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 14 Kathmandu:
Full day sightseeing of Boudha, Pashupatinath and
Bhaktapur - city of farmer.

Day 05 Pemayangtse to Yuksam:

back to Kathmandu.

Day 06 Pemayangtse to Yuksam:
Early morning visit Monastery. It is a premier monastery
of Sikkim and belongs to the Nyingmapa sect. Breakfast.
Begin your trek via; Darap, Rimbi and Thinling to
Yuksam (1780 m.). Here the first Chogyal Phuntshog
Namgyal was consecrated. Evening discussion and briefing
on the trek. Check-in Trekker's Hut or Tented Camp.
Early Dinner and rest.
Day 07 Yuksam to Tsokha:
Breakfast. Pack Lunch will be served. Begin your trek
through semi-tropical forests. After 4-5 hrs. of moderate
trekking you will reach Bakhim (2745 m.). Further
one and half hrs. steep trek reach Tsokha (3030 m.).
A small Tibetan settlement with small monastery and
holy lake. Evening camp fun. Dinner and rest.
Day 08 Tsokha to Dzongri:
Breakfast. Trek to Dzongri (4030 m.) 4-5 hrs. trek,
along the Yak grazing area. Awe
inspiring view of the Himalayas. One feels over-whelmed
and staggered at the towering presence of the snow
giants. Juponu (5936 m.) in the east, the Pandim (6691
m.) on the left, while on the right a long line of
granite piers run down the 'Darjeeling Jap'. Camp
at
Dzongri. Hot Lunch and Dinner shall be served.
Day 09 Dzongri Excursion:
Breakfast. Dzongri Excursion. Hot Lunch and Dinner.
Evening camp fun. Camp at
Dzongri.
Day 10 Dzongri to Thansing:
Breakfast. Trek to Thansing (3930 m.) 3-4 hrs. trek.
Hot Lunch and Dinner. Evening
camp fun. Camp at Thansing.
Day 11 Thansing to Tsokha:
Breakfast. Return trek to Tsokha via; Phethang. Hot
Lunch and Dinner. Camp at Tsokha. Evening camp fun.
Day 12 Tsokha to Yuksam:
Return trek to Yuksam. Hot Lunch and Dinner. Camp
at Yuksam.
Day 13 Yuksam to Tashiding:
Breakfast. Trek to Tashiding. 4-5 hrs. moderate trekking.
Monastery is standing on the top of the conical hill
with rare wall paintings. It is founded in 1716 A.D.
Hot Lunch and Dinner. Camp at Trekker's Hut or Forest
Lodge. Evening camp fun.
Day 14 Tashiding to Gangtok:
Breakfast. Trek to Legship. 2-3 hrs. trek. Coach /
Jeep waiting to pick you up. Drive to Gangtok (1600
m.) via; Kewzing, Ravangla, Singtam. 4 -5 hrs. drive.
Check-in Hotel. Refresh with hot bath. Evening walk
around town.
Day 15 Gangtok:
Sightseeing of Gangtok. Evening free (details in the

Day 16 Gangtok to Kalimpong:
Breakfast. Drive to Kalimpong (1250 m.) 2 hrs. drive
and center for shopping of local handicrafts. It offers
quiet holidays. Deep valleys with the mighty Himalayas

Day 17 Kalimpong to Kathmandu:

Day 13 Thansing to Tsokha:

Day 14 Tsokha to Yuksam:
Breakfast. Return trek to Yuksam. Hot Lunch and Dinner.
Overnight Camp or Trekker's Hut. Camp fun and farewell
Dinner.
Day 15 Yuksam to Gangtok (Drive):
Breakfast. Drive to Gangtok (1600 m.) 6-7 hrs. drive
via; Tashiding, Kewzing, Singtam. Check-in Hotel.
Refresh with hot bath. Evening walk around town.
Day 16 Gangtok:
Full day sightseeing as in the mentioned above places

Day 17 Gangtok to Kalimpong:
Breakfast. Drive to Kalimpong (1250 m.) 3 hrs. drive.
Kalimpong is a center for shopping of local handicrafts.

are worth visiting. Evening walk around town.
Day 16 Kalimpong to Kathmandu:
Breakfast, drive to Bhadrapur Airport - 3 to 4 hrs,

Day 17 Kathmandu: Free for optional tour or can be
manage sightseeing of important religious places in
Kathmandu
Day 18 Departure transfer to International Airport

costs. These forms are available at the Indian High
Commission in your country. Please fill two copies
for each person/s and send it to our office in Sikkim.
Once the permit is approved we will notify you. It
normally takes two to three days.
