mountain holiday and tough or easy walking trip following

Trekking Season
Trekking in Nepal can be undertaken throughout
the year depending on where you are going. All 4 seasons
in Nepal has its distinct attraction to offer.
AUTUMN
(Sep-Nov) |
Autumn is considered as the best
season for trekking in Nepal as this season offers
excellent weather and tantalizing mountain views.

WINTER (Dec-Feb) |
In this season, it is generally
preferred to trek at lower altitude i.e. below 3000m
as it is noted for occasional snowfalls only at
higher altitude.

SPRING (Mar-May) |
In this season the temperature
is quite moderate. Varieties of wild flowers, especially
the rhododendrons are in complete blossom. This
is the secondly preferred season for trekking in
Nepal as excellent view of mountains can be observed
in this season.

SUMMER (June-Aug) |
This season is quite wet and
warm. So, it is a suitable season to trek in the
rain shadow areas which is north of the Himalaya
like Mustang, Upper Manang and Dolpo. These places
are out of reach of the rain clouds because of the
huge mountains and are unaffected y the monsoon.
Summer months sometime continue up to September.
This season is also recommended for forest researchers
and botanist as the higher valleys and meadows blossom
with flowers and lush vegetation. Raincoats and
insect repellents are essential to trek in this
season.

Setting up for a Trek

our Trek Program, the people who are physically
fit encouraged to participate. |

Cardiac patient
and one with pulmonary history are not recommended
to trek without the advice of a physician. They
are restricted to trek in the higher altitude and
strenuous treks. |

Prior knowledge
about altitude sickness, its symptoms, prevention
and remedies is advised. |
 |
Your insurance
policy should cover for helicopter evacuation expenses
in the eventuality of serious illness or accident
or the case you are stranded in any remote area
due to inclement weather conditions. |

You have to bring
your personal trekking gear. |
